Thank you for taking a look into our favourite vacation spot. Our cottage can be easily described in one word, RELAXATION! If, like many people, you're searching for that perfect blend of uncomplicated cottage living but still appreciate all of the modern amenities, our cottage is sure to be of interest to you when you plan your next weekend or extended holiday.
The spacious cottage which sits atop a gentle slope and overlooks a quiet bay on the north portion of Otter Lake is a peaceful retreat attractive to all ages. The beach and swimming area is clean and safe for children and parents will appreciate the large deck which wraps around the cottage for entertaining family and friends. The cottage is well furnished and equipped with three bedrooms, one queen size and two double/full size comfortable beds. For additional guests, there is also a queen size sofa bed, as well as ample room on the property for those who may wish to set up a tent.
In addition to the bedroom space, the cottage also has a large living room with wood burning fireplace, cathedral ceilings and full unobstructed views of the lake, as well, open concept full kitchen with modern fridge, electric range and dishwasher. The dining area has plenty of room for your family, the one 3-piece bath as well as laundry room with washer/dryer complete the cottage's living space. Guests will find the cottage cozy and will appreciate that the linens, pillows, blankets and towels are included for your stay.
At the waterfront you'll find a large dock where you can swim or just spend the day in the sun. Guests also have use of our paddleboat for a leisurely opportunity to see the lake, as well as the many loons which call Otter Lake their home. Our cottage is located central to many local attractions including Algonquin Provincial Park and the Dorset Fire Tower. 
The Fire Tower is a popular sightseeing spot and offers unparalleled views of many of the area's lakes as well as the town of Dorset from its perfect vantage point. We are located approximately equal 25 minute driving distances from both the communities of Bracebridge and Huntsville, both of which offer full service shopping. The community of Dorset is only 5 km's from our cottage and also offers many services as well as Robinsons, the most amazing General Store around!
